The washer died mid-load. The first shop to answer wins.
Appliance customers are stressed, soaked, and texting three companies at once. Otto answers yours in seconds, collects the appliance, the symptom, and the address, and hands you a draft to price. You confirm the visit, fix the machine, and collect before you leave.
Free during beta. No demo call, no credit card, no contract.
A service call, start to paid
- 1
The text comes in
"Washer won't drain, water everywhere." Otto answers immediately, says it's an AI assistant for your company, and starts collecting what you need to roll a truck.
- 2
Otto gets the details
What appliance, what brand, what it's doing, roughly how old. The address and when someone's home.
- 3
You price and book the visit
Price the diagnostic visit on the estimate, the customer accepts from their phone, and Otto proposes arrival windows from your calendar. You confirm one.
- 4
Fix it and collect at the door
Diagnose at the machine, fix it, and text the pay link before you leave. Card or ACH, settled to your own Stripe account.
It asks what a dispatcher would ask
Otto works from a checklist you control, set up for appliance work:
- Which appliance, and the brand
- What it's doing, in their words
- Roughly how old it is
- Gas or electric, if it matters
- The address for the visit
- When someone's home
- Name and best contact
- How urgent it is
Everything else your shop runs on.
Three-option estimates
Send one estimate with up to three priced options: the basic, the upgrade, the full package. The customer compares them on their phone, picks one, and signs. That option is what you bill.
Learn moreSchedule and calendar
Day, week, or month view with every visit assigned to a person or crew. When a customer signs an estimate, the booking happens in the same place. No separate calendar app.
Crew texts
Your techs get their day by text with a link to everything they need for each stop. No morning phone tree, no app to install, no login to forget.
Invoices and deposits
The invoice pulls from what the customer signed, so there's nothing to retype. Collect a deposit up front and bill the rest when the work is done. The deposit shows as a credit on the final bill.
Card and ACH payments
Text the pay link and the customer pays by card or bank transfer. The money goes to your own Stripe account, not ours. Cash or check? Record it and the balance clears.
Clean records for the bookkeeper
Every invoice and payment exports to CSV for any date range. Hand it to your bookkeeper or drop it into a spreadsheet. We're not accounting software, and we don't pretend to be.
Customer records
Every conversation, estimate, and invoice tied to one customer. When they text again in October you can see what they had done in March and what they paid.
Otto, your AI front desk
A customer texts your number and Otto replies in seconds, day or night. It tells them it's an AI, asks the right questions, and drafts the estimate. It never quotes a price. You can jump into any conversation and Otto steps back.
Learn moreQuestions, answered.
Does Otto diagnose the appliance?
No. It collects the symptoms and the model so your tech arrives knowing what to bring. The diagnosis happens at the machine, where it has to.
Can I charge a diagnostic fee?
Yes. Price the visit as its own line on the estimate the customer accepts before you roll. Many shops credit it toward the repair. That's your call.
How does scheduling work for a truck on the road?
Every visit sits on one calendar, assigned to a tech. Otto proposes windows from that calendar, you confirm, and the customer gets a confirmation text. Your tech gets the day's schedule by text.
Is this built for appliance repair specifically?
It's built for quote-first service work, and appliance repair is a clean fit: intake, a priced visit, a scheduled truck, an invoice at the door. The intake checklist comes set up for appliance work and you can edit every question.
