For detailing shops

You're buffing a hood. Your next customer is texting you.

Detailing leads text at lunch, at 9 p.m., mid-clay-bar. Otto answers every one, asks about the vehicle and its condition, and hands you a draft estimate. You price the package, the customer picks it on their phone, and the car is booked.

Free during beta. No demo call, no credit card, no contract.

How it works

A detail, start to booked

  1. 1

    The lead texts

"Do you do ceramic coating?" comes in while your hands are covered in polish. Otto answers right away, tells the customer it's an AI assistant, and starts collecting details.

  2. 2

    Otto sizes up the work

What they drive, inside or out or both, how far gone the paint is, dog hair or no dog hair. The answers land in one thread you can read before pricing.

  3. 3

    You price the package

Otto drafts the estimate from the conversation. You add your packages: wash and wax, one-step polish, full correction with coating, each priced. Otto never invents a price.

  4. 4

    They pick and book

The customer compares packages on their phone, picks one, and signs. Otto proposes drop-off times from your calendar and you confirm. The invoice and pay link live in the same tool.

Otto's checklist

It asks what a detailer would ask

Otto works from a checklist you control, set up for detail work:

  • Year, make, and model
  • Interior, exterior, or full detail
  • Paint condition: swirls, oxidation, scratches
  • Interested in polish or ceramic coating
  • Pet hair, smoke, or stains inside
  • Daily driver or garage queen
  • Name and best contact
  • When they want it done

Everything else your shop runs on.

Three-option estimates

Send one estimate with up to three priced options: the basic, the upgrade, the full package. The customer compares them on their phone, picks one, and signs. That option is what you bill.

Schedule and calendar

Day, week, or month view with every visit assigned to a person or crew. When a customer signs an estimate, the booking happens in the same place. No separate calendar app.

Crew texts

Your techs get their day by text with a link to everything they need for each stop. No morning phone tree, no app to install, no login to forget.

Invoices and deposits

The invoice pulls from what the customer signed, so there's nothing to retype. Collect a deposit up front and bill the rest when the work is done. The deposit shows as a credit on the final bill.

Card and ACH payments

Text the pay link and the customer pays by card or bank transfer. The money goes to your own Stripe account, not ours. Cash or check? Record it and the balance clears.

Clean records for the bookkeeper

Every invoice and payment exports to CSV for any date range. Hand it to your bookkeeper or drop it into a spreadsheet. We're not accounting software, and we don't pretend to be.

Customer records

Every conversation, estimate, and invoice tied to one customer. When they text again in October you can see what they had done in March and what they paid.

Otto, your AI front desk

A customer texts your number and Otto replies in seconds, day or night. It tells them it's an AI, asks the right questions, and drafts the estimate. It never quotes a price. You can jump into any conversation and Otto steps back.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Does Otto quote detailing prices?

No. A sight-unseen quote on a trashed interior is how a detailer eats a four-hour piece of work for two hours of pay. Otto collects the condition details and drafts the estimate. You set the price.

Can I offer packages as options?

Yes. One estimate can carry three tiers: maintenance wash, one-step polish, full correction with coating. The customer picks on their phone and that package is what you bill.

What happens when a lead goes quiet?

Otto follows up after a stretch of silence, once, politely. The half-finished conversations that used to die in your personal phone get a second chance.

Can customers still reach a person?

Always. Ask for a human and Otto hands the thread over. Every conversation sits in one inbox where you can jump in any time.

Does it work for mobile detailing?

Yes. Otto asks for the address instead of proposing a drop-off, and the rest works the same: estimate, acceptance, booking, invoice, payment.
