Refund Policy
Last updated: July 2, 2026
If you're unhappy with a charge, email [email protected] and we'll work with you to figure out what went wrong and make it right. ServCTRL is billed monthly with no contract, so the stakes of any single charge are deliberately small — and our default posture is that we'd rather give a refund than keep an unhappy customer.
Examples of a full refund
- You meant to cancel but were charged for the next month before you got to it. Tell us — we'll refund it.
- You forgot to cancel months ago and haven't used the account since. We'll review the account history and refund the unused months.
- You gave ServCTRL an honest try after beta, it isn't the right fit, and you're inside your first month or two of paying. Ask.
Examples of a partial refund or credit
- You mostly stopped using the account a while ago but had some activity. We'll look at the history and work out a fair partial refund.
- The Service was down for multiple hours in a day, or for stretches across multiple days in a month. We'll credit your next billing cycle.
- Support left you hanging on something that mattered. We'll credit your account for the trouble.
The free beta
The beta costs nothing, so there's nothing to refund — and founding shops lock in a lifetime discount when paid plans switch on. If beta isn't working for you, we'd still like to hear why: [email protected].
How refunds are processed
Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days. You'll get an email confirmation when it's issued.
Something not covered here?
Just ask. These examples aren't an exhaustive list, and edge cases are decided in your favor more often than not.
